Our church group brings the pastor's wife for her birthday every May. It has always been a magical experience, which is why we keep coming back. This year, our table of 15 made friends with the table next to us and they were celebrating a birthday as well. We sang happy birthday to them and even held hands for a closing prayer before we all left. That was a special experience. On top of that, someone secretly paid for our entire meal!!! Yes, they paid for all 15 of us. Mighty God!!

I cannot describe how much we LOVE the Glitz! Always well taken care of by the two women that own and run it! I've NEVER had a disappointing meal and I cannot say that for any other eatery in the area! Farm to table ( they have their own garden ) it's a tradition that my sisters, me, my daughter and neices look forward too whenever we get the chance!

The Glitz is one of my favorite places for lunch. The food was superb, and the atmosphere is so charming. Enjoyed taking my girls there for their first time. It will definitely be at least a annual luncheon for us.

We have been going to the Glitz to eat every Summer season. This year I was expecting and my sister had her 1 year old. (BTW last summer she ate the Nonesuch Kiss and went into labor the next day!) If you ever have the pleasure of eating there ask them about that legend. So our family dynamics have begun to change, but we still wanted the joy of eating at one of our favorite places. We knew going in that bulky items like strollers were not allowed and knew there were stairs. My sister had her Vera Bradley diaper bag/backpack with her with all the essentials. I've read some reviews where customers complained about the servers asking to take their diaper bags and such. They never did that to us and were very accommodating. We just stowed the bag under the table. The owner came out to explain why the fire marshall wouldn't let them have high chairs in the basement. We completely understood. She offered us a bumbo seat with straps sitting in a sturdy chair. It worked fine. The food was wonderful as usual. The baby fussed some but no one was rude about it. Many commented on how well she did. Our server even brought out a muffin for her to enjoy as well. She ate the whole thing! So our experience with a 1 year old there was good. We may not have got to laze around and talk as much as we usually do, however it was still an enjoyable experience. We have walked through the antiques so many times that we decided not to do that with the baby. So I can't attest to how that experience would have been. But the dining with the child went fine and everyone was very nice.
